About me - Hi there, I am Kate, the owner, recipe developer, and publisher here at Thermo Spoons.
Food means everything to me, and I've been cooking since I was 8 years old (with supervision, of course). With a regular 9-5 job and as a busy mother, I understand the importance of being able to make quick, flavorful, and wholesome meals that don't take too long to prepare.
I have loved pulses since I could say beans, and I aim to demonstrate how you, too, can make delicious lentils, chickpeas, and more at home.
These recipes have simplified my life in so many ways; I sincerly hope they'll assist you just as much.

some fun fact about me
I participated in a half-marathon race that occurred in Tsavo National Park, Kenya. I had diligently trained at home with cardio dance workouts, and no amount of persuasion could convince me that it wouldn't suffice. There was no deterring my determination!
I did complete the marathon, but I literally couldn't walk for 4-5 days afterward. Ah, the adventures of my 20s! On the bright side, I had the privilege of witnessing one of the world's greatest marathon runners, Mr. Eliud Kipchoge, in action!
