Made with just a few pantry stables, this balsamic dressing is perfect for everything from salad greens to roasted veggies.

    why I love this recipe

    • Uses regular pantry staples.
    • It has no added sugar - perfect for keto, low-carb and diabetic-friendly diets.
    • Takes under 5 minutes.
    • So much better than store-bought!
    • Meal prep-friendly - lasts up to a week in the fridge.

    ingredients you will need

    • Olive oil - use extra virgin for the best flavor.
    • Balsamic vinegar.

how to make sugar-free balsamic vinaigrette

Add all the ingredients to a jar with a tight-fitting lid. Shake well until emulsified. Alternatively, whisk together in a small bowl.

    optional add-ins

    • Dijon mustard.
    • Add minced garlic or shallots for a sharp, savory kick.
    • Add Italian seasoning or fresh or dried herbs like thyme, rosemary, or oregano
    • A dash of water to lighten the dressing without thinning the flavor too much.

    quick tip

If your vinaigrette separates after sitting, just give it a quick shake before using: It'll come right back together. If it doesnt, then let it sit for a few minutes at room temperature, then stir.

    refrigeration

Store any leftover dressing in a sterilized jar with lid and keep in the fridge for up to two weeks.

    serve it with

    • Green salads.
    • Drizzle it over grilled vegetables or roasted beets.
    • Use as a light marinade for chicken or tofu
    • Caprese salads.
    • With quinoa, chickpeas, or lentil bowls.
